Poultry Operation Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poultry Operation Supervisor to join our team at Les Entreprises Robert Charette Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement farm safety and bio-security procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting to maintain high-quality crop production.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain accurate quality control and production records to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Work Environment:
  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Be exposed to dust and odours on a regular basis.
  • Work at various locations, including on the road.
Requirements:
  • Experience in farm operations and management is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges and make informed decisions.
