Island Health is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team in a group practice in a fully owned and operated Island Health facility in Port Hardy or Port McNeill. This is an exciting opportunity to practice rural health and provide full spectrum Primary Care to Emergency Services in the Mount Waddington region.

The successful candidate will provide longitudinal primary care to patients in the community, with a requirement to provide on-call ER coverage, on average six to eight on-call shifts per month.

Additional Information:

Various remuneration models are available, including Fee-For-Service, Longitudinal Family Practice Payment Model, New to Practice or APP clinical service contract.

You will also be offered additional monetary incentives, such as medical on-call payments.

Hours of work are flexible, with Primary Care Clinics open Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm.

Remuneration includes FFS, LFP, NTP, and clinical service contract.

Clinic locations are in Port Hardy and Port McNeill.
