Financial Analyst, Infrastructure

Brookfield Asset Management, Inc is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join their Infrastructure Finance and Operations team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, treasury and financial reporting for Brookfield Infrastructure Private Funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage liquidity and oversee capital transactions for the fund.
  • Prepare quarterly financial statements for investors.
  • Assist in capital events, including preparation of operations binders and review of distribution and capital notices.
  • Participate in the annual audit process and prepare annual tax financial statements.
  • Contribute to various reporting initiatives across the organization.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and present financial, impact and operational results.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business or Finance.
  • Completed or working towards completion of a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA).
  • One to three years of experience in finance and/or accounting functions, with a focus on private funds.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, complex environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
