About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Bent Taco. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are sanitized and stored properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with dishwashing and sanitizing duties, including loading and unloading dishwashers and washing dishes by hand.
  • Restock supplies and ingredients in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation, including portioning and wrapping food items.
  • Receive and store supplies, including perishable items, in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including dishes and equipment.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
