Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose issues with light vehicles.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on new and added-on equipment.
- Monitor parts usage and report any material issues to management.
- Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders and timecards.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance records.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and repair techniques.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
- Assist in developing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Licensed Journeyman Automotive Mechanic.
- Red Seal Certification preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
- Experience working with commercial equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Computer literate.
