Your Role: We seek an experienced Landscape Architect to join our Landscape Architecture team in Edmonton, working on high-profile projects that redefine public spaces, transportation systems, and community hubs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in project development, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive designs that meet client objectives.
  2. Develop landscape architectural designs, conducting site analyses, establishing spatial relationships, and incorporating sustainable principles.
  3. Prepare and manage project documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  4. Engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide expert advice on landscape architecture matters.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local regulations, policies, and industry trends, applying this expertise to guide project decisions.
  6. Ensure efficient project delivery, coordinating with external partners, managing budgets, and tracking progress against deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in landscape architecture, with extensive experience in design development, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding of local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental policies influencing landscape architecture projects.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, with experience in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD software.
  • Ability to navigate complex projects, manage competing priorities, and maintain a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Certification as a Landscape Architect (or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory for candidates.
