Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Amica Somerset House in Victoria. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and supporting our team in delivering exceptional service.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time opportunity with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide personalized care to our residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the highest level of care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current LPN license in the province of British Columbia
  • Experience working in a long-term care or seniors' living environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing exceptional care and service to our residents
