Job Description: Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team in Bruce County, Ontario.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce Company Health and Safety policies and programs to ensure safe working procedures on company work sites and facilities.
  • Collaborate with management and labor to maintain the highest level of due diligence.
  • Provide counsel and advice on all health and safety-related matters.
  • Coordinate and attend on-site health and safety meetings.
  • Develop and deliver site-specific Health and Safety training, indoctrination, and orientation for employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of site inspections, safety audits, and accident investigations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Possess a post-secondary education in Management or Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Hold current certifications in NRSO (National Construction Safety Officer), CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional), and WHMIS.
  • Demonstrate expertise in OHSA, WSIB, Construction, and Industrial Safety Regulations.
  • Certified H&S trainer and proficient in CPR, First Aid, Working at Heights, Fall Protection/Arrest, Lock out, Confined Space, and TDG training.
