Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and agile Senior.NET Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-grade N-Tier Web Applications using C# and.NET 4.5. If you have a passion for high-performance, scalability, security, and reliability, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement features as part of a team for our SaaS eCommerce Platform and other related.NET Applications.
  2. Stay up-to-date with emerging technological trends and ensure the team is well-informed.
  3. Identify areas of our platform that require refactoring for performance, design, reliability, or scalability reasons.
  4. Assist in implementing software development processes among our development teams.
  5. Mentor less senior developers and contribute to improving team dynamics.
  6. Perform code reviews for other team members.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable university-level program.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience developing production web applications (any platform).
  3. Minimum 3 years' experience developing applications in C# and.NET required.
  4. Strong object-oriented design and programming knowledge using C# and.NET 4.5, NHibernate, Dependency Injection (e.g., Ninject, Autofac, etc.).
  5. Experience with web technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, HTML, and CSS.
  6. Experience with unit testing such as NUnit, MSTest, FitNesse, and Jasmine.
  7. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (programming with T-SQL).
  8. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server platform, including IIS, WCF, COM+, and MSMQ.
  9. Experience contributing to architectural documentation (write-ups, UML, etc.).
  10. Experience with performance profiling tools (ANTS, Microsoft, Dynatrace, New Relic, Lean Sentry, etc.).
  11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Assets
  1. Experience with other eCommerce products, Order Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management, etc.
  2. Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
  3. Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
