- Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Cleaning Products and Supplies: Handle and store cleaning products and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
- Garbage and Trash Removal: Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Knife Sharpening: Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of activity and pressure.
- Overtime Required: Be available to work overtime as required to meet the needs of the business.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks on a regular basis.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods of time to perform tasks.
- Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Weight Handling: Lift and move items weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required.
- Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.
