We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team at Trusted Accounting & Tax Services Inc.
Job Summary:The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule Work: Plan and coordinate the work of the accounts receivable team to ensure efficient and effective processing of customer payments.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Generate and submit regular reports to management on accounts receivable performance, including aging reports and cash flow projections.
- Resolve Work Problems: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in customer payments, and provide technical advice to team members as needed.
- Ensure Accuracy of Financial Transactions: Verify the accuracy of all financial transactions, including customer payments and credits.
- Co-ordinate, Assign and Review Work: Coordinate the work of the accounts receivable team, assign tasks, and review work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Co-ordinate Activities with Other Work Units or Departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and sales, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, and reliability.
