Informatics Security Specialist

Jas Globe Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Informatics Security Analyst to join our team. As an Informatics Security Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and developing policies and procedures to minimize the effects of security breaches.
Key Responsibilities- Confer with clients to identify requirements and document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation and design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions.
- Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery, and assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
- Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches and conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
- Resolve conflict situations and consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to distinguish between colours and sound discrimination.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, judgement, and organized approach to work.
- Flexibility, innovation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Jas Globe Inc. offers a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week, in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environment.
