Job Summary

Flying Dutchman Trucking Ltd is seeking an experienced Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
    • Load and unload goods
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues
  • Documentation and Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of transportation activities
    • Complete and submit necessary documentation, including driver logbook and inspection reports
  • Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance
    • Ensure all equipment and vehicles are in good working condition
  • Health and Safety
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate or diploma required
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Valid driver's license
    • Steel-toed safety boots
