About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at KIJOSA INVESTMENT CORP. as a Kitchen Operations Manager. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our clients, while ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, assistants, and other support personnel, to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all inventory is properly stored and rotated to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques, as well as on kitchen safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, organized, team player
