Rebar Installation Specialist

At Shiwalik Rebar and Dampproofing Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Rebar Installation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be able to work at heights. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to construction sites.
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Align, weld, or bolt units in place to ensure structural integrity.
  • Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects, or failure to comply with specifications or regulations.
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.
  • Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction.
  • Dependability, organized, and a team player.
  • Ability to work at heights and handle heavy loads.

We offer a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week and English as the primary work language.
