Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked bakery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, and make adjustments as needed to maintain high-quality products.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Setting: Bistro or bakery environment.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
