Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to work with our Neurosurgery team at VGH. As a member of our interdisciplinary health teams, you will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment of patients and clients, initiating treatment, and collaborating with other health professionals to identify and assess trends and patterns that have implications for clients, families, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive patient assessments and diagnosis
  • Treatment initiation and healthcare management
  • Prescribing medications and evaluating treatment responses
  • Collaboration with other health professionals and client populations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and four years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience. Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is also required.
