Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Service Supervisor to join our team at Saskatoon Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department, including coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and resolving work problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operation of the parts department.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on parts inventory, sales, and other key metrics.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure adequate coverage and expertise in the parts department.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the parts department, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a parts or inventory management role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, organized, and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Job Type: Permanent.
