Instructor - Continuing Education Contract Specialist

Job Summary
Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking a qualified Contract Instructor to teach in our Continuing Education department. As a Contract Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver instructional content to students in a variety of formats, including online and in-class delivery.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in the field of gas fitting.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop and implement curriculum.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of experience in the gas fitting industry, with a strong background in instructional design and delivery.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in a post-secondary setting.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and to adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
