Electrical Assembler Job Opportunity

Randstad Canada is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team in the Perth/Ottawa area. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime, offering a competitive starting wage of $20/hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work from drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instructions to perform electrical and mechanical assembly.
  • Determine wiring sequence, layout, and location to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Test and verify work to meet quality standards.
  • Adhere to CSA, UL, CEC codes, and company quality requirements.
  • Provide input for work area improvements and support corporate initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • 1+ year manufacturing/assembly experience.
  • Two-year community college diploma or higher.
  • Experience with milling and drilling equipment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/continuous improvement principles.
