Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Prince George Taxi Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and income tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
