At MGIS Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions using IBM technology.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud solutions and a proven track record of success in project management. You will be responsible for overseeing projects to ensure alignment with our organizational goals and resolving technical issues to provide guidance to the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IBM infrastructure and systems to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods to ensure seamless operation.
  • Oversee projects to ensure alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to the development team to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Government of Canada Secret Clearance is required for this position.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as IBM Certified Architect or TOGAF are considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience working with IBM technologies, including DB2 and cloud solutions, is required.
