Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at RS SIDHU TRUCKING LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dump truck to transport goods and materials to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and experience with GPS navigation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a dump truck to transport goods and materials to various locations
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Experience with GPS navigation equipment
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
