About Your Role

You will play a pivotal role in our Economics team based in Vancouver as an Analyst. Your key responsibilities will include conducting economic research, developing databases for analysis, undertaking quantitative analysis, crafting professional reports, and providing insightful observations on various projects for our diverse clientele.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry trends, going beyond numerical analysis to provide comprehensive insights.
  • Build complex databases for analysis using data from multiple sources.
  • Conduct thorough quantitative analysis and support the interpretation of results.
  • Create high-quality reports and project deliverables, clearly explaining research methods and drawing meaningful conclusions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, or business/commerce (or equivalent).
  • 1-2 years of prior work experience in a similar quantitative role is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent quantitative research skills, with the ability to conduct thorough analysis and provide sound interpretations.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver results under pressure.
  • Strong verbal communication and writing skills, with the ability to translate data and empirical results into compelling reports and presentations.
  • Good proficiency with computer software – statistical packages, MS Office.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This compensation reflects the market rate for a qualified Analyst in Vancouver, considering the company's expertise, industry standards, and the cost of living in the region.
