Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

We're seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Golderado Contracting Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment to support our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, graders, rock trucks, and packers.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and secure special attachments.
  • Communicate effectively with team members using two-way radios and other communication equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment and execute high-volume production.
  • Fine grade and finish surfaces.
  • Assist other operators, laborers, and trades as needed.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
  • CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, or SCOT, and Ground Disturbance Level 2 certifications.
  • Ability to quickly identify problem situations and produce workable solutions.
  • Reliable means of transportation and a valid driver's abstract.
  • Proficient English language skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment:

The project is located in Jansen, SK. You will need to find your own accommodations. We offer LOA and travel pay.
