Job Title: Script Person

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Script Person to join our team at Ethnic Channels Group Limited.

Job Summary:

The Script Person will be responsible for assisting with script development, research, and coordination for our television and radio productions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about storytelling and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with script development, research, and coordination for television and radio productions
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure scripts are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Research and gather information for script development
  • Assist with scheduling and organization of production shoots
  • Collaborate with writers and directors to ensure scripts meet production requirements
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. communications, media studies)
  • 1-2 years of experience in script development, research, or coordination
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Work Environment:

The Script Person will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of writers, directors, and producers to bring scripts to life. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
