About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team at A1 Quality Roofing Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems, including built-up roofing, roofing tiles, and single-ply roofing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
  • Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
  • Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
  • Repair roofing systems
  • Install sheet metal flashings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work site environment: At heights, noisy, outdoors
  • Work setting: Various locations
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
