We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Orchard Villa, a Long Term Care facility. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality of nursing practice, ensuring exceptional resident care while adhering to protocols and physician orders.

About the Role:

  • Prioritize tasks in order of urgency and work individually or as part of a team to deliver high-quality care
  • Observe, report, and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and initiate remedial health measures when necessary
  • Organize and direct functions related to provision of care to residents, including training and professional development of new staff

Requirements:

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset but not required
  • Registration/eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
  • Previous experience in long-term care is an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and comprehend complex information
