About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team in the operation and minor servicing of heavy-duty trucks and associated equipment, including right-hand drive automated garbage collection vehicles.

As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for performing skilled work in the collection, transporting, and unloading of solid waste, as well as performing other tasks such as garbage and litter clean up, garbage cart cleaning, repairs, and deliveries.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a valid full-privilege Class 3 BC driver's license with air endorsement (or out of province equivalent) and a driver's abstract that reflects a safe driving record.

You will also have one year of experience as a truck driver operating on public roadways, training in the operation of heavy-duty trucks, and a good knowledge of the methods and procedures used in the collection, transporting, and unloading of solid waste.
