About the Role

We are looking for reliable and customer-focused individuals to protect information, people, and property. Key responsibilities include:

  • Issuing visitor cards;
  • Answering incoming phone calls;
  • Monitoring CCTV cameras;
  • Managing incidents;
  • Conducting on-foot patrols of the exterior and interior of the site;

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, previous experience in the security industry (an asset), and be able to stand and sit for long periods. Steel-toe boots are required, and flexible scheduling is necessary, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

To become a successful Industrial Security Guard, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Previous experience in the security industry (asset);
  • First Aid Level C CPR and AED certification;
  • Class 5 driver's license and clean driving abstract;
  • Reliable vehicle to get to and from work;
  • Saskatchewan Security Guard License Training Certificate (we can assist you in obtaining this);
  • Clean criminal background check;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Pass a drug and alcohol test;
  • Customer service orientation;
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment if incidents occur;
