Job Summary

DRAS Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and cut materials to exact specifications
  • Assemble and join materials to form structures
  • Install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain and repair residences and wooden structures in various settings
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
Work Environment

As a Steel Stud Framer, you will work in a variety of settings, including residential and industrial construction sites. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
