Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Hephæstus Homes Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction of residential buildings, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and assisting in framing houses and building roofs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a noisy and dusty environment, with regular overtime required.

Requirements:
  • Experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and physically demanding tasks
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
