Cancer Surveillance System Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Epidemiologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. This is a permanent full-time position, with a salary range of $37.61-$47.01 hourly.
In this role, you will work closely with fellow epidemiologists and report directly to the Manager of the Cancer Registry & Analytics. Your primary responsibility will be to support the development of a high-quality cancer surveillance system for the Nova Scotia Health Cancer Care Program (NSH CCP).
You will conduct routine data queries and analysis, produce descriptive cancer statistics, and develop cancer control quality and system performance indicators. Additionally, you will assist in creating knowledge products such as annual reports and infographics to promote knowledge exchange among patients, healthcare providers, and the public.
This role offers opportunities to contribute to research-related activities and operational cancer care decision-making and planning for the NSH CCP. If you have a Master's degree in Epidemiology or equivalent, relevant experience in epidemiology, and strong analytical skills, we encourage you to apply.
