Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Product Assembly Technician to join our team. This is a permanent position that requires the assembly of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of our equipment. The successful candidate will have excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
The Product Assembly Technician will be responsible for:
- Assembling various components of our equipment, including dump bodies, plows, and conveyors;
- Operating an overhead crane to move loads;
- Working as part of a team to ensure the accuracy and quality of our products;
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and instructions;
- Use hand and power tools to assemble components.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good physical endurance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail;
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and instructions;
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and French;
- Experience working in a team environment;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary, including an hourly wage of $21.39 to $26.34, plus an evening premium of $1.75. We also offer a range of benefits, including group insurance, employee assistance program, and telemedicine. Our team is stable and experienced, with an average of 15 years of service.
