Food Service Manager

At Chicken Chef Flin Flon, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing regular updates on kitchen operations and performance.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts and respond to changing circumstances.
