About the Role
We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team in Cambridge, Nova Scotia. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board
- Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain the bus's condition
- Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus
Requirements
- Good verbal communication skills
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year
- Undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks
