A tire technician is a highly skilled professional responsible for ensuring the safe operation of vehicles. As a tire technician at Fountain Tire Sudbury, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Salary: $18-$22 per hour (based on experience)

About This Role

This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling and involves physical work that can be unpredictable, wet, cold, windy etc. Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 50KG is required.

  • You will be responsible for installing, balancing, and rotating passenger, light truck, medium truck tires and wheels.
  • Complete safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards.
  • Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
Qualifications

We are looking for someone with previous experience, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a good attitude. A valid G2 driver's license is required at a minimum, those with G1 licenses will not be considered. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract.
