Food Service Manager

Join Sunset Grill as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and identify areas for improvement.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other relevant data.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
- Relocation Costs: Relocation costs covered by employer.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
