Job Summary
This is a senior role that requires expertise in materials engineering, welding, and nuclear power plant environments. The successful candidate will lead material and welding evaluations, prepare technical documents, and provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Main Responsibilities
- Lead material and welding evaluations for conceptual, preliminary and/or detailed design of CANDU or Nuclear reactor components, piping and process systems and modifications.
- Prepare technical documents following AtkinsRéalis/CANDU Energy QA programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support and collaborate with other entities including laboratories and other third parties.
- Perform complex assignments independently or under limited supervision of a senior Metallurgist, analyst, or engineer.

Requirements
- Engineering degree or graduate degree related to Materials Engineering, including courses and/or work experience in materials applications.
- Eligible to be registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
- At least 10 years of related work experience in materials engineering, NDE, and welding with specialization in nuclear power plant environments.
