Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our Digital Product Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining multiple products that empower hospitality guests and front and back of house operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python/Django, PostgreSQL, and AWS
  • Build and deploy consumer-facing applications using React, TypeScript, and React Native
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and logistics teams to design and implement efficient and reliable solutions
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of our technology architecture and development processes
  • Identify and execute opportunities for the engineering team's growth and improvement
Requirements:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Python/Django, React, TypeScript, and SQL
  • 3+ years of experience in Full Stack software engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-awareness, a positive attitude, and empathy
  • Experience in giving and receiving code review feedback
  • Passionate about building great products, innovation, and solving complex problems
