At Societe Generale, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quantitative Risk Modeler to join our team in the Americas. As a key member of our Model Risk Management (MRM) department, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our continuous model monitoring (CMM) framework.

The CMM framework is a critical component of our risk management strategy, designed to assess the performance and effectiveness of our models. Your expertise in quantitative analysis and statistical modeling will be instrumental in ensuring that our models meet regulatory requirements and provide accurate risk assessments.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including model validators, model developers, business stakeholders, IT, and auditors. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and partners across different departments and locations.

You will be responsible for conducting independent model reviews, assessing model conceptual soundness, verifying data input quality, and reviewing ongoing monitoring to ensure models are adjusted as necessary. Your knowledge of model governance aspects, such as model change management and risk assessment, will also be essential in this role.
