We are seeking a dynamic Property Manager to join our team at Killam Apartment REIT. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multi-residential properties in Toronto, Mississauga, and Cambridge, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the operation of a portfolio of multi-residential properties

Oversee staff to ensure properties are well maintained and address maintenance issues in a timely and cost-effective manner

Work with staff to lease vacant apartments according to leasing procedures

Handle tenancy matters directly under the Residential Tenancies Act

Prepare annual property operating budgets and monthly variance analyses

Provide support to and supervise staff associated with the portfolio, including conducting annual performance reviews

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in property management, with a preference for multi-residential experience

Completion of a university degree or college diploma program in a related field, or equivalent experience

Ability to thrive in a changing environment and contribute to a rapidly growing company

Excellent attention to detail

Experience with budgeting and financial reporting

Strong supervisory and leadership skills

Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience with Yardi property management software is an asset
