Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex industrial machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Perform minor fabrication and rigging work as needed, and complete hand sketches and drawings if required.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company's health and safety policies and applicable laws.
  • Document all completed work and notes in the CMMS database on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs regularly and wear PPE while working.
  • Experience with rigging, fabrication, and welding.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and compressors, with some knowledge of control systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.
  • Candidates with a 433A license, Certificate of Qualification, and Certificate of Apprenticeship will be preferred.
  • Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment, especially from a cement or mining surface plant, is preferred.

This is a Full-Time position, working on-site 5 days a week in Innisfil, ON.
