Senior Associate, BPO Fund Accounting Specialist

About the Role
MUFG Investor Services is seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Associate to join our Business Process Outsourcing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing performance and statistical reporting, reviewing regulatory and NAV files, and utilizing Investment Manager tools for enhanced investor reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve administrator NAV Calculations for accuracy and completeness.
- Calculate fund management and incentive fees according to the fund's legal structure.
- Review Investor Reports prior to distribution to the investors.
- General oversight of fund allocation, including making investor distributions, capital calls, and annual audited financial statement review.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure accurate and on-time maintenance of funds.
- Produce other reporting as required to fulfill both internal and external requirements.
- Train new team members on existing and new processes.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in fund accounting with a desire to broaden skill set in a Business Process Outsourcing role.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of accounting concepts.
- Experience in fund accounting for alternative investment funds.
- Client-facing experience with proven relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional designation such as CPA/CFA (or in progress) would be considered an asset.
