About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Talent Transformation Group Inc. as a Development Officer, where you will play a crucial role in fulfilling an organizational design project with the Department of Defense.

The project is estimated to last for one year and offers options for contract or full-time employment. You will work in a hybrid environment, splitting your time between a DND office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expert Advice and Recommendations: Provide expert advice and recommendations to assess the client value of new requirements and opportunities for applying efficient and effective solutions.
  • Organizational Structure Development: Contribute to the development of the organizational structure to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and results.
  • Resourcing Strategies: Provide expert advice and recommendations on resourcing strategies to acquire the right resources to fulfill the Office's mandate.
  • Readiness Assessment and Action Plans: Conduct a readiness assessment and action plans, including a risk assessment management framework, to plan and implement the DTO organizational setup.
  • Behavioral Competencies and Capacity Building: Provide expert advice and recommendations on behavioral competencies and advice, guidance, and coaching to build capacity to effectively use strategies and related tools.
  • Sustainable Human Resources Options: Develop sustainable Human Resources options to address the organizational transformation requirements, including the organizational design and resourcing options.
  • Project Management and Reporting: Follow project management procedures and reporting tool requirements.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on organizational development and design solutions.
  • Organizational Design Recommendations: Identify and provide organizational design recommendations.
Requirements
  • A university degree and 10 years of organizational development experience.
  • Completed at least 2 organizational design projects with the Federal Government in the last 10 years.
  • Completed at least 5 organizational development, research, or strategy projects related to IT or Digital Transformation.
  • 10 years of experience conducting interviews and promoting stakeholder engagement with senior management personnel.
  • Completed at least 5 projects identifying functional and operational business lines including their specific objectives and priorities.
  • At least three years (within the last 5 years) of branch operational planning and oversight or change management experience.
