Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at RYHAB DEVELOPMENTS LTD. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment on various job sites across different locations.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe operation
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks to maintain equipment efficiency
• Secure special attachments to equipment and read blueprints, maps, and specifications
• Clean and lubricate equipment regularly and refill tanks as needed
• Work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail required
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance
• Valid Class 3 or D driver's license
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Ability to work outdoors in various locations and relocate if necessary
• Steel-toed safety boots, safety vest, and own transportation
Benefits
• Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on experience)
