Pharmacy Technician Job Description

At Pharmacy Professionals Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Advise patients on the proper use and care of prosthetic devices and orthotics.
  • Prepare and compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams as prescribed by physicians.
  • Manage inventory of medications and maintain accurate records of prescription products.
  • Clean and restore ocular prostheses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Interpret physician specifications to ensure accurate preparation of medications.
  • Provide patient education on loss of depth perception and other related topics.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
