Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the development and implementation of functional testing strategies and increase the test automation footprint. The successful candidate will provide technical vision and leadership for applications/projects, ensuring objectives are accomplished on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans for large-scale projects, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Design and develop reusable test automation scripts, integrating them with DevOps pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation testing with CI/CD principles.
  • Manage and maintain up-to-date and well-documented automation test scripts.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading, developing, and implementing functional test strategies with change management experience in complex programs.
  • Proficiency in Python programming with SQL to automate applications and integrate with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Jenkins, Teradata, and qTest.
  • Experience in API testing via RESTful API with understanding of response code management.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with qTest and JIRA, including publishing automated reports using APIs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong presentation skills to determine information and communication needs of stakeholders and project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse concepts, with working knowledge of Snowflake.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
  • Experience with VB Macro and knowledge of OpenShift container platform, Docker, AWS, and Rundeck.
