Job Responsibilities

As a Continuing Care Assistant with Health Careers in Saskatchewan, you will provide personal care and activities of daily living for clients to encourage optimum level of functioning. You will support clients in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.

Key Competencies
  • **Basic Computer Skills:** Proficiency in using computer software and systems to manage client information and communicate with colleagues.
  • **Effective Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • **Interpersonal Skills:** Ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues to provide empathetic and person-centered care.
  • **Organizational Skills:** Strong time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple clients and tasks.
Education and Requirements
  • **Continuing Care Assistant Certificate (CCA):** Completion of a recognized CCA program.
Other Requirements
  • **Valid Driver's License:** Possession of a valid driver's license, where required.
  • **Food Safe Certificate:** Possession of a Food Safe certificate, where required.
