Job Title: Senior RF Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Test Engineer to join our Advanced Development Engineering Laboratory team at Skyworks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and executing RF measurement setups, analyzing test results, and creating product validation data reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • RF Measurement Setup Design: Design and execute RF measurement setups that meet and exceed Skyworks' strategic goals.
  • Test Result Analysis: Analyze test results and troubleshoot measurement issues to ensure high-quality product performance.
  • Product Validation Reports: Create and present product validation data reports for marketing and engineering purposes.
  • Test Requirements Understanding: Understand test requirements for RF products, including power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, couplers, switches, acoustic filters, and integrated RF Front End WiLAN transmit/receive modules.
  • Test Technician Support: Support test technicians during day-to-day activities to ensure smooth operation of the laboratory.
  • Advanced Test Techniques: Apply advanced test techniques, including spectral analysis, network analysis, modulated signal analysis (e.g., EVM, ACLR, SEM), noise figure, digital control/serial bus control, digital pre-distortion and envelope tracking, and DC analysis/pulsed current.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 5 years' experience in an RF laboratory environment or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough technical understanding and practical working knowledge of RF principles and theory, including Wi-Fi/Cellular/IoT/Infrastructure measurement experience.
  • Test Automation Software: Proficiency in test automation software, including LabVIEW, C#, Python, or Matlab.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Curious, creative, and collaborative problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving business unit goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Database Scripting: Database scripting experience is an asset, including SQL, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.
  • Statistical Concepts: Familiarity with statistical concepts is an asset.
